Arkady Grudinin is not as well known to the broad public as an artist as his guild
colleagues who moved to the side of the underground in the 60s. Remaining true to his
profession, he, as it’s called, was the “creator of an epoch”, glorifying the communist
regime, filling it with artistic meaning, and working in a style designated by art historians
as Sots Art. His poster image became a part of the museum funds of various artistic
institutions, such as, for example, the Rybinsk Art Museum-Preserve, in whose storage is
one of his most famous and widely replicated works: “The Name of Lenin Is in the
Hearts of All! We Shall Demonstrate Our Loyalty to the Party!”
